A Fayetteville community turned Friday night basketball into a remembrance for a beloved coach. Whitewater High School's Noah Chalkley died of a massive heart attack on Thursday. The 55-year-old was a longtime assistant basketball coach there.
Everyone wore pink on Friday in tribute.
Coach Chalkley often wore pink in support of his wife's battle with breast cancer.
He's also remembered for having a positive impact on many young lives.
He's survived by his wife of 31 years, a son and daughter. His funeral will be Monday at New Hope Baptist Church.
