MEMPHIS (FOX13) -- Multiple reports on Tuesday stated the Memphis Grizzlies have spoken with multiple teams about trading Rudy Gay.
Phoenix, Sacramento and Golden State are teams that have reportedly shown interest.
Gay is the Grizzlies' leading scorer, and he's also the highest paid player on the club making north of $16 million this year.
The Grizzlies at some point are going to have to shed some salary in order to avoid going over the NBA luxury tax.
The NBA trade deadline is Feb. 21.
