RiverKings say 'Aloha Elvis' on Jan 8

SOUTHAVEN, Miss. (FOX13) -

In honor of Elvis Presley's 78th birthday on Jan. 8, the Mississippi RiverKings will be wearing custom Aloha Elvis themed sweaters.

The RiverKings will wear the Aloha Elvis sweaters when they face the Louisiana IceGators at the Landers Center. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m.

Following the game, the RiverKings will auction off the Aloha Elvis jerseys.

The RiverKings are one of a few organizations licensed in 2013 year by Elvis Presley Enterprises to play official Elvis Presley music throughout their sporting events.

During Tuesday's game against the IceGators, fans will be treated to Elvis trivia and activities commemorating the legacy of the Rock n' Roll legend.

Also on Tuesday in honor of The King's birthday celebration, Graceland will unveil a new display called "Elvis' Hawaii: Concerts, Movies and More!," celebrates Elvis' love for Hawaii and the 40th anniversary of the "Aloha from Hawaii" television special.

The RiverKings play in the Southern Professional Hockey League.
