Iowa State topped Tulsa in Thursday night's annual team party rib eating contest between the two AutoZone Liberty Bowl teams at AutoZone Park in Downtown Memphis.

Each team had to have a player down 20 ribs on a plate, the equivalent of two racks of ribs, in order to win a coveted fender guitar.
Iowa State offensive lineman Ethan Tuftee bested Tulsa guard Alec Henry to win rib eating glory and the fender guitar, Tuftee set a bowl record in downing 20 ribs in 22 minutes, 45 seconds.
The Cyclones and Golden Hurricane face each other New Year's Eve afternoon in the 54th edition bowl game at The Liberty Bowl.
