Downtown holiday parade Dec 22 at 11am

It's been several years since Memphis held a holiday parade and the Tri-State Defender is doing its part to bring it back.

The Downtown Memphis Christmas Parade will take place Saturday, Dec. 22, at 11 a.m.

The parade route starts at Fourth and Beale Street, travels to Second and MLK Drive, to Third, and back to Beale Street.
