Volunteers donate coats to Inkster elementary students

INKSTER, Mich. (WJBK) -- Hundreds of kids in Inkster will be a little warmer this winter thanks to a group of community activists.
Inkster Citizens Who Cares, a group of 15 volunteers, teamed up with the Inkster Public Schools to donate over 200 coats to needy children in the district on Wednesday.
"A lot of our young people have experienced hard times just like we have and they need these items to stay warm," said Daryl Love, principal at Meek Baylor Elementary School.
