Six days before Christmas and all through this group, protests were stirring but there's a reason behind their rhymes.
FOX 2 has been documenting the delays and complaints plaguing the DDOT bus system for months. Now members of a transit coalition say waiting for a city bus is worse than waiting for Santa!
The North End Woodward Community Coalition is upset by the Mayor's cuts to DDOT service earlier in the year. So they're taking their message to the Internet. Some of the protests, letters, petitions and complaints they've received have now been turned into holiday tunes.
The Mayors Office says they have made dramatic improvements to the bus system in just the past year including a text message system which tells riders exactly when their buses will show up. They also have added routes and the mayor's office also says the regional transit authority bill that was passed will help make the ride smoother for riders. But many passengers argue the buses have to get on the right track before that works.
About a dozen riders we spoke to say things have gotten better in the last year.
