Twenty-six-year-old Willie Braddock, who was arrested at the scene of Friday's fatal shooting of police officer Martoiya Woods Lang, was arraigned on drug charges Monday.
Braddock, though, was given until Jan. 2 to hire an attorney to represent him on his third drug arrest this year. He was arrested during a drug investigation early Friday in which Officer Lang was fatally shot and Officer William Vrooman received a leg wound.
Police returned fire, striking and wounding 21-year-old Treveno Campbell, who they said fired at them. Campbell is charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder.
Campbell, being treated at The MED for critical wounds. It is unclear when he will be arraigned in court.
