MEMPHIS, Tenn. (FOX13) -
A criminal court jury convicted Marvin Davis, 38, of Whitehaven, of raping a 6-year-old while she was visiting relatives in January 2011.
According to trial testimony the young girl visited her aunt's home and Davis was her live-in boyfriend. It was revealed that during the night, Davis forced the child into sexual intercourse with him twice while others in the house were asleep.
Davis is looking at 60 years in jail with no possibility of parole when he is sentenced Jan. 11, 2013. He will also have to register with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's child sex offender registry.
