Rhonda Lee, a former FOX13 News employee, has made national news after her employer in Shreveport, La., fired her after she responded to viewer criticism on Facebook.
Lee was a meteorologist at KTBS-TV. The station said she was fired because she responded to a racial remark posted by a viewer on the station's Facebook page.
Though the interaction on Facebook took place in October, KTSB's management fired Lee in late November because she violated the station's social media policy.
