9 Taken To Hospital, Others Sick After Mass Concert Drug Overdose

PHILADELPHIA -

The Electric Factory is scheduled to reopen at noon Monday after a mass drug overdose led to the cancelation of a concert Saturday night.

Police say as many as 25 people may have been sickened after taking Ecstasy at the Spring Garden venue.

Crews took nine of those people to the hospital. Authorities shut the concert down.

Hundreds of people had shown up at the Electric Factory to see a performance from DJ Zeds Dead.
