More Intrigue In Stands Than On Field For Eagles Game?

PHILADELPHIA -

A Monday Night Football audience and 70,000 disgruntled Eagles fans. This could be interesting.

The Birds face the Carolina Panthers, who only have two wins so far this season, making them even worse than the home team that's on a six-game losing streak.

There will be no Michael Vick tonight, and LeSean McCoy is still out with a concussion. So Nick Foles will get his second start as quarterback, and seventh-round draft pick Bryce Brown will be taking the handoffs.

The most interesting part of the game could be what is going on in the stands at the Linc.

Fans will be vocal with the 3-7 Eagles one defeat away from an eight-loss record that owner Jeffrey Lurie has already declared not good enough.

The combination of head coach Andy Reid on the field and Monday Night Football commentator Jon Gruden in the booth should make for some creative chants from the crowd.

Or will you be actually watching the play of five rookies taking the field for Philadelphia in starting roles?

On "Good Day" Monday morning, 97.5-FM's Sean Brace talked about whether Lurie would fire Reid after an eighth loss. See the video to hear his thoughts on whether that could happen.

It was a soupy start today. We can expect many clouds, some sun, lots of humidity, and a chance of pop up showers any time. At least it'll be warmer: High around 80-degrees today.

The weather remains unsettled through most of the work week. Warm temps stick around, too. And we do mean stick...because it'll be humid, too.

By Thursday a cold front moves by bringing more rain.  It will also bring drier and cooler weather by Friday as we finally clear out.
