Delta airlines is cutting reportedly another 15-percent of its daily flights out of Memphis. That will take the number of below 100!
Three of the routes that will be discontinued include: Birmingham, Jacksonville, Florida... and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, plus, they tell us we should expect a service reduction to other cities.
The cuts will likely go into effect in early 2013 .
We tried contacting the airline about this - our calls have not been returned.
Delta has cut more than fifty-percent of its flights since it took over Northwest Airlines ten years ago from a high of more than 300 daily flights. .
Once these predicted cuts take effect, the total number of Delta flights out of Memphis will shrink to 95.
