BENSALEM, Pa. (AP) -- Authorities in suburban Philadelphia say a woman lost control of her car on Interstate 95, crossed the median and hit a vehicle traveling the opposite way. Both drivers died.
State police say 19-year-old Carlee Tran of Philadelphia was driving south in Bensalem when her car left the road, hit a guardrail, became airborne and was struck by a northbound minivan.
Police say Tran and the other motorist, 51-year-old Brian McHugh of Pennington, N.J., died at the scene Saturday night.
A third car traveling north also hit Tran's vehicle. That driver, a 49-year-old woman from Newtown, was taken to a hospital. Her condition was not immediately known Sunday.
Layers, layers, layers. Time to bundle up once again.
High temperature around the freezing mark today, with sunshine.
Our Saturday storm begins with snow by 10 am. Winter weather stays around all day and night tomorrow. A couple of inches accumulation in the metro area. More to the north and west, less to the south and east. Only a rain event for the shore.
Be careful! Whatever type of precip, we can promise you tricky travel tomorrow. The storm exits Sunday morning.
