MEMPHIS, Tenn. (FOX13) -
A man Shelby County deputies say raped several women is behind bars after his DNA links him to the crimes.
Michael Richardson is being held on a two million dollar bond.
He made his first court appearance this morning on three counts of rape and one count of aggravated robbery charges.
He's been ordered to come back to court on November 28th with an attorney.
The Shelby County Sheriff's Office had been investigating three sexual assault cases for the past few months.
All of the victims were taken from the East memPhis area to rural parts of Shelby County.
Investigators say began looking at Richardson when they connected him to a similar case from 2007.
The investigation is ongoing.
