PHILADELPHIA -

It is one of the busiest travel days of the year, as people gear up to get to their families for Thanksgiving.

In fact, AAA estimates more than 43 million Americans will journey 50 miles or more between Wednesday and Sunday!

Joining "Good Day" live on the phone Wednesday was Victoria Lupica from the Philadelphia International Airport.

Ticket counters opened at 5 a.m. and inbound planes began arriving at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, which is the airport's busiest day of the year.

An estimated 90,000 to 100,000 travelers are expected to pass through the airport on Wednesday alone. About 42,000 travelers fly out of Philly on a daily basis.
