A man and woman have been arrested after a sleeping Memphis man was beaten with a baseball bat Nov. Nov. 16 at a North Memphis home, police said.
Joseph Orman, 25, was arrested and charged with specially aggravated burglary and criminal attempted second degree murder in the attack.
Police said Orman, a convicted felon, claimed the victim owed him money.
The victim, who was found covered in blood in a hallway, remains in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit at The MED.
A second suspect, 21-year-old Sarah Edwards, was also arrested and charged with criminal attempted second-degree murder after she admitted to police she had a hand in Friday's crime.
