People Are Already Lined Up For Black Friday Deals

NEW YORK -
It's still a few days away, but the lure of super sales on the busiest shopping day of the year is just too enticing for some.
In a number of areas, lines for Black Friday sales have already begun forming outside some popular stores.
The cold weather posing little concern, these shoppers say they have everything they need. People have set up tents and heaters as if they were camping in the woods.
Topping their shopping list are televisions, tablets and other electronics.
And Thanksgiving dinner? Not a problem. The retail campers say their family will bring them some turkey and all the trimmings after they are done eating.
Some suggest the folks already waiting on line might be a little fanatic. But others say it's just tradition.
And with all the anticipation and hype, at least one expert says it will be a huge boost for retailers and the overall economy.
"Overall holidays sales will grow to about $586 billion," said Kathy Grannis, of the National Retail Federation. "That's about 4.1 percent higher than last year's holiday season so there's expectations for a pretty good holiday season overall."
Also expected to do well this holiday season is online shopping. Cyber shopping accounts for nearly 40 percent of the revenue spent during the Black Friday weekend, Fox's Marianne Rafferty reports.
