Collierville Mayor Stan Joyner was elected to a second four-year term by voters Tuesday.
Mayor Joyner received 72 percent of the vote (15,535), while his challenger Alderman Tom Allen received 27 percent (5,727).
At Mayor Joyner's watch party Tuesday evening, the room erupted in cheers as the numbers showed this would not be a close race.
The mayor credited his victory on what he calls "good ole fashion politicking."
Joyner, joined by his wife Linda of 39 years, says he will hit the ground running focusing on his platform of stewardship, service, safety and schools.
