SOUTH PHILADELPHIA -

Generous Philadelphia residents helped to make life a little easier for victims of Hurricane Sandy.

On Wednesday, 18,000 items were donated during the all day Hurricane Sandy Relief Drive.

Fox 29's Jenn Frederick was at Xfinity Live! in South Philly all morning as a constant flow of people dropped off all sorts of helpful items.

The Hurricane Sandy Relief Drive was a day-long event.  FOX 29 partnered with Comcast Spectator, and WMMR to help the Salvation Army conduct the city-wide collection of much-needed supplies to aid those in need.
