Statement from Memphis City Attorney, Herman Morris
"It's a great victory for the voters of the City of Memphis. I applaud Mayor Wharton for standing up for the citizens and voters in Memphis and seeing this through to its successful resolution before the highest court in the State of Tennessee."
City Attorney Morris and some members of the Wharton Administration will be voting at 1pm at the Shelby County Election Commission using their Memphis Library Photo ID card.
Election Commission is located at 157 Poplar Avenue. Press availability will occur on the Second Street side of the building.
