Metro Detroit dentists to buy back Halloween candy

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) - For parents or children seeking alternatives to eating tons of candy, here is a list of candy buy backs going on in metro Detroit:
Treats for Troops by the Oakland County Sheriff's Office. Candy collection will be Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m at any Oakland County Sheriff's office location.
Dr. Jusino's Office will pay $2 for each pound of Halloween candy from 2 - 5 p.m. at his office at 276000 Middlebelt Road in Farmington Hills. Dr. Jusino will match the total amount paid out and donate the proceeds to the Cipriano Children's Trust Fund.
1st Annual Halloween Candy Buy Back Event by Orchard Maple Family Dental and Operation Gratitude. Candy can be dropped off at 6280 Orchard Lake Road in West Bloomfield. Times are 2 - 8 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Friday, and 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Saturday.
Halloween Candy Buy Back at Wainess P. Stevens DDS, 30140 Harper Avenue, St. Clair Shores. Event starts at 3 p.m. and runs to 7 p.m. Thursday.
Dr. David Schmidt (1900 Packard Rd.) in Ypsilanti will buy back candy Thursday from 3 - 7 p.m.
And finally, Dr. Susan Abed from Abed Orthodontics at 19727 Allen Road in Brownstown Twp. will also buy back candy from 3 - 6 p.m.
