A trial date has been set for embattled former Shelby County General Sessions Court Clerk Otis Jackson.
Prosecutors say he previously agreed to accept a plea deal, but changed his mind last night.
In fact, during his hearing this morning Jackson refused to raise his hand and take an oath.
He reluctantly did though after being prompted by the special judge called in to preside over the case.
His trial date is set for February 19.
Jackson is accused of pressuring his staff to both contribute and collect money for his 20-12 re-election campaign.
