TROY, Mich. (WJBK) - A Troy father is expected to be arraigned Thursday afternoon on charges that he killed his three-month-old baby girl.
An autopsy by the Oakland County Medical Examiner earlier this week determined the infant's death was no accident. "The autopsy was conducted, and the medical examiner ruled it a homicide, blunt force trauma," said Captain Robert Redmond with Troy Police.
Troy Police are not releasing many details about the incident, including names, but we've learned it was Monday just before 2:30 a.m. when police officers were called to the family's home.
When they arrived, they found the mother outside hysterical. The child and father were inside in a basement bedroom.
