Pera bid for Grizzlies one step closer to reality

The NBA Finance Committee approved the Grizzlies purchase by Robert Pera..

Pera is the young internet millionaire, who is in the process of buying the hometown team from longtime owner Michael Heisley.

The Finance Committee unanimously approved the deal, but it still has to go through the NBA Board of Governors.

That vote takes place today.
