Ex-Memphis employee arrested on theft charges

Eric Woodson, a former city of Memphis employee, was arrested for theft after he allegedly ordered a $300 part for his car and billed the city.

According to Memphis police, Woodson ordered the part as if it was for a city vehicle.

Woodson, a city of Memphis employee since 1996, was fired from his job in the past week.
