5 injured in school bus accident

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (FOX13) -

Two students and three adults were treated for minor injuries they sustained in a school bus accident with a car Wednesday morning in east Memphis.

The accident involving a Memphis City Schools bus with 21 students took place a around 8 a.m. at Summer Avenue and North Graham Street, police said.

First responders transported two children, the bus driver, and two other adults to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital for treatment, police said.

A school district spokesperson said the schools bus was transporting students to Kingsbury Career and Technology Center on North Graham Street when the bus and car collided.

Though police have not said who was at fault in the crash, witnesses said the driver of the car appeared to be at fault.

The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
