PHILADELPHIA -

Police have arrested an 18-year-old man in connection with the robbery and shooting of a man on a SEPTA platform last week and another recent gunpoint robbery at a grocery store.

He is identified as Shawn Walker.

Both crimes were captured on surveillance video that was later released on the department's YouTube channel.

On Oct. 5, two men entered the Espinal Grocery Store on the 1600 block of Lehigh Avenue in North Philadelphia.  One of the men, whom police believe is Walker,  brandishes a .45-caliber handgun and takes money from the register. The two men then fled on foot.

Then, on Sunday, police allege Walker shot and robbed a man as he was getting of a train at the Broad Street and Glenwood Avenue platform. The victim was listed in critical condition at last check.

The man in both surveillance videos was seen wearing a striped shirt, FOX 29's Dave Schratwieser reported.

Warrants were issued for both incidents and Fox 29 learned that Walker is now in police custody.
