PHILADELPHIA -

Looking at the front of a home on the 3000 block Brighton Street in Philadelphia, you might think it fits right in with the neighborhood, but neighbors are more concerned with what's inside.

The renters were evicted a month ago and neighbors say the backyard is still filled with trash bags, toys, an old mattress and bugs.

The bugs are everywhere, neighbors say.

One neighbor says he's concerned for the health of his wife, who is four months pregnant and his two dogs, who have already been covered in fleas.

The home is getting the attention of Philadelphia City Councilman Bobby Henon, who says he wants to launch a task force to find solutions to these types of properties.

Henon tells Fox 29's John Anderson the task force would be made up of city government representatives and city agencies, along with neighbors who can be the eyes and ears of their own neighborhoods.

You can watch John Anderson's full report in the video above.
