PHILADELPHIA -

The hangover from Sunday morning's wedding brawl caught on tape at the Society Hill Sheraton lingered Monday as a third man was charged for battling with police as they tried to break up the fisticuffs.

More arrests are expected to follow.

"A very unfortunate melee. It should have been a time for people to celebrate at a wedding reception," said DA Seth Williams.

"Did they just deck the bride," one onlooker said.

Williams weighed in on the tape recorded evidence of two wedding parties punching it out early Sunday morning after a post wedding fight in the hotel bar spilled out into the lobby.

The incident caused a city wide, triple alert to police.

It ended with officers in a melee with wedding guests.

The video was shot by 15 year old Max Schultz.

"Things started getting louder and I just thought it doesn't sound like they're having fun anymore," Schultz said Sunday.

Several wedding guests were arrested. The uncle of one bride died from a heart attack outside the hotel.

"Most likely of a direct  result of the excitement of what was going on," Williams said. "So my heart goes out to his family."

Twenty-six-year-old Matthew Sofka from Westfield, New Jersey, was charged with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment and riot for his role that lead to an encounter with police.

There were several blows from a baton and a taser used.

"They tried to suppress the danger that other people were exposed to as well" the DA explained after seeing the video

Wedding guests were still leaving the hotel on Monday, none were in the mood to talk. Police say there will be more arrests once detectives unravel exactly what touched off the brawl.

"We're gonna review it in appropriate time to see what the police paperwork shows to see who is responsible," Williams added.
