Detroit homeowner finds family living in her house for sale

DETROIT -- Detroit homeowner Jacqueline Fraizer is looking for answers after walking into her house that is up for sale and discovering a family had moved in.
She is still in a state of disbelief that this is happening. She has owned the house on Edmore Drive on Detroit's east side for more than 12 years. She didn't rent to these people, doesn't know them and wants them out.
"I called the police. They said that they don't have eviction rights, that I would have to go through 36th District Court, and for me this is a breaking and entering. This is my home," said Fraizer.
We went with Fraizer to get answers. In the kitchen, we found a guy hanging out waiting to get his hair braided and the lady living in the home trying to hide. She even threatened to call the police saying she's a tenant.
The so-called tenant said they paid $1,400 to rent the tidy house and even showed us a lease. Millie Williams of Westland rented them the place. So we went to Westland. No surprise, there was no Millie Williams living at the listed address.
So are they the innocent victims of a scam or trespassers? Either way, Fraizer just wants them out of her house.
"It seems like I'm the bad guy here because I'm forcing them out of my property, but I have to stand up for what's right," she said.
The so-called tenant did not have any receipts for the rent, saying they paid in cash. She told Fraizer they would be out of the house by Saturday night. Fraizer is supposed to sign closing paperwork on Monday, so she hopes they keep their word so the sale can move forward.
