A 17-year-old Memphis City School student who attends Ridgeway High School has been charged with two counts of carrying a weapon on school property after he brought two guns to school.
The handguns, which were loaded, were found Tuesday inside the student's car, police said.
A box of ammo was also found, police added.
The school's principal received an anonymous tip that led officers to search the teen's car.
