PHILADELPHIA -

We've seen many welcome home celebrations for members of our military, but what happens when the flags, fire trucks and friends are gone?

Mark Luckhart spent three years on a Navy ship in the 80s. He says he toured the world, but when he came back, there was no place to call home.

Living on $600 a month and no job, Luckhart says his life took a dark turn. He became addicted to heroin, was homeless and was suffering from mental illness and diabetes.

That's when Cara Colantuono walked into Luckhart's life.

Colantuono, the granddaughter of two veterans, is a social worker who started an organization called "Support Homeless Veterans."

The group finds homes to rent and uses donations to provide food, clothing, transportation and even medical visits.

Luckhart has three roommates and, like fighting on the front lines, they all watch out for each other.

For the first time since his return in 1988, Luckhart says he feels at home.

It was a gloomy Sunday as the whole area remain socked in with low clouds & fog, drizzle and scattered showers.

The weather remains unsettled through most of the work week. The difference is that it will really warm up -- temperatures soar into the 80s by Tuesday.  That mild and humid air mass will fuel afternoon thunderstorms.

By Thursday a cold front moves by bringing more rain.  It will also bring drier and cooler weather by Friday as we finally clear out.
