Sarah Bleau joined FOX
13 News in April 2012 as a reporter, bringing along her passion for journalism.
It's not Sarah's first time in the FOX 13 newsroom: After graduating from the
University of Memphis in May 2010 she became a production assistant at the
station. She not only worked various production jobs, Sarah also wrote web
stories and special segments for the morning show, Good Morning Memphis.
After a few months of being a production assistant, Sarah became a reporter and
fill-in anchor at WFXL FOX 31 News, which serves the Southwest Georgia area.
While there Sarah broke news about the Federal Trade Commission investigating a
local hospital buyout.
Sarah interned at WEIU-TV NewsWatch in central Illinois during her college
years. It was at WEIU where she received her first live television experiences
as a reporter/anchor for their live weeknight newscasts.
Originally from Ohio, Sarah attended Kent State University for a year before
moving with her family to Memphis, Tennessee. She finished up college at the
University of Memphis, graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in
Broadcast Journalism.
