Two arrests have been made in the University of Memphis robbery that happened last week. 20-year old Brian Burns and 24-year old Deundre Glover have been charged with aggravated robbery, burglary, and kidnapping.
Last week, University of Memphis campus police alerted the university and its students via its text alert system of a reported armed robbery Tuesday afternoon inside a Carpenter Complex dorm. Campus police said two men encountered a female student in her residence. One of the male suspects had a small silver hand gun but the female student was not injured.
The suspects demanded personal items and then fled in an unknown direction.
Both black suspects were in their late teens or early 20s, between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-8 in height, both with thin builds. One of the suspects had a chin beard, wearing a pullover short sleeve shirt with black and white, 1" horizontal stripes.
A few days later the University of Memphis campus police released three surveillance photos of two men who they believed were wanted in Tuesday's campus dorm robbery. They asked anyone with information about the two men were asked to contact University Police at 901-678-HELP.
