Richard Nixon was president when the Super Submarine Sandwich Shop opened in 1972 on Highland at Southern.
Soon, it will be no more, unless it can find a new location.
Owners told FOX13 News that business is good, but not good enough to stop the sale of the land.
Once the deal is finalized, the new owners will most likely demolish the existing buildings.
It means the sub shop, meat market, Whatever smoke shop and the Z-Mart will be no more.
"No, they haven't sent us any notice yet about. Heard from the people talking about it," says Adam Ali with Z-Mart.
