DETROIT (myFOXDetroit.com) -

"My work bag, my badge, my purse, my phone, everything in there," said Shatanya Lockett.

It's everything that can be replaced except her daughter's wheelchair. The 20-year-old cerebral palsy patient is now stuck without one.  Her mother's 2002 red Dodge Caravan was stolen from outside a liquor store at West Chicago and Livernois on Detroit's west side.

"I work hard. I work from check to check," Lockett told us. "They took everything, but the most important thing is my daughter's wheelchair because if we go somewhere tomorrow, she doesn't have her wheelchair. I can't take her."

Lockett was supposed to take her daughter out for a special night. Now she won't be able, and it's bringing her to tears.

"I was supposed to take her and my grand kids and everybody to the circus tomorrow."

Meanwhile, store management is asking whoever is responsible to drop off the wheelchair at their shop so they can return it to the family. They say no questions will be asked.
