Visitors to Tom Lee Park in Downtown Memphis are definitely getting a sinking feeling after a 5-foot sinkhole formed recently.
Many visitors to the riverfront park are concerned the sinkhole that is a foot in diameter will continue to grow and someone will step in it and get hurt.
The city blocked off a large section of the park with caution tape in case it gets bigger.
It's not clear yet what's causing the sinkhole.
The city says they are monitoring it and say they'll have it fixed soon.
