Jeremy Clements Racing (JCR) and driver Jeremy Clements are proud to announce that St. Jude Children's Research Hospital will serve as the "Primary Partner" for JCR. The St. Jude logo and website will appear on all available panels of the JCR #51 Chevrolet for the remainder of the 2012 racing season.
"JCR is a family team and we proudly support the research and care that St. Jude provides to families all over the world," said Jennifer Clements Zellner, marketing manager for JCR. "We feel that while we actively search for sponsors, we can use the marketing power of our racing program to help raise awareness and funding for St. Jude."
With no cost to St. Jude, the possibility of reaching millions of fans is an opportunity that the hospital is happy to embrace. "We are incredibly excited to be a part of Jeremy Clements Racing and their efforts to raise awareness for St. Jude," said JD Peeples, sports marketing director for ALSAC/St. Jude. "NASCAR fans are exactly the type of caring, loyal and giving people that we strive to reach. The average donation to St. Jude is $30 and it often comes from hard-working families just like those sitting in the stands cheering on their favorite drivers."
Driver Jeremy Clements also is excited about the opportunity. Clements said, "My greatest hope is that NASCAR fans will join us in supporting the lifesaving work of St. Jude. St. Jude helps children all over the world, not just at the hospital itself, so every dollar a fan gives has a global reach and gives children the chance to live and to become healthy adults.
