University of Memphis athletic officials say more than $15 million was raised during the 2011-12 fiscal year, including $7 million in donations to the Tiger Scholarship Fund.
In addition to the funds generated by the Tiger Scholarship Fund office, more than $2.4 million was given as gift-in-kind. The "Vision for Victory" campaign raised in excess of $4.8 million for the Park Avenue football project, while planned gifts and endowments topped $1.4 million.
The Athletic Department's total of $15. 3 million in dollars raised will be counted as part of the University's "Empower the Dream" campaign, which is attempting to raise $250,000,000 by June 2013.
