A night club in Hickory Hill has been closed until further notice after video of a "taboo" sex party went viral.
The Shelby County District Attorney's Office shut down Club Elements on Tuesday.
A sign on the door of the Winchester night spot ready, "closed by order of the Environmental Court and the District Attorney's Office."
In addition to the explicit video, 18 other calls to police over the past two years have lead to the tenants being evicted.
The club
was shut down, citing a Nuisance statute that addresses lewd and obscene
behavior in places that become a risk to public safety welfare.
A hearing
is scheduled for July 9th. There, the DA's office plans to seek permanent
closure of the club.
