Tom Dees

My mom is a retired teacher and my Dad is a retired U.S. Air Force Navigator which makes me an Air Force brat!

I was born in Kokomo Indiana, lived there for about 1 year, then moved from there to Hawaii, then to California (the first time). From there I moved to mainland Japan, then Atlanta while my dad was in Vietnam. Moving on to Arizona, I then went back to California (for Elementary School), from there to Okinawa Japan (Junior High School), and then we moved to Slidell, Louisiana, just outside of New Orleans (High School).

I went to College at Mississippi State, and graduated from there in 1987.

I'm bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish.

2008 marks my 20th year in the television news business!

I've been blessed to work with the best, and the best currently work right here at FOX13 and continue to be an inspiration for me.
