SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) -
Thunderstorms packing heavy rain and winds knocked down trees and power lines in Southfield.

The
storms that moved through the state early Tuesday knocked out
electrical service to several thousand homes and businesses in the
Detroit area.
Crews worked Tuesday morning to restore service. No injuries were reported.
