Three men were shot and one is dead after an apparent armed robbery in southeast Memphis.
A 21-year old was pronounced dead at the scene. FOX13 spoke with neighbors who say they administered CPR. After hearing the gunshots, neighbors living across the street say they ran outside and saw the three men inside the car who had all been shot.
It happened Friday night on Miller Glen Way in southeast Memphis. The driver, 21-year old Imri Gilmore died on the scene. Two unidentified friends of Gilmore were in the car with him and were shot as well.
Both have been released from the hospital. Michelle Foster said the boys were friends of her daughters and had attended a gathering at her home earlier that day. She said the two survivors were able to give her a description. Foster’s sister attempted to administer CPR to Gilmore before paramedics arrived.
Police reports say there were at least two suspects with guns. Foster said one of the shooting victims stated the armed men were in a white SUV. Anyone with information is asked to call the Shelby County Sheriff's Office.
