Anthony Webster Indicted On Four Child Sexual Battery Charges

Shelby County District Attorney Amy Weirich announced that a grand jury has indicted Anthony Webster, age 27, on four counts of aggravated sexual abuse of three children under the age of thirteen while employed at a child care center.

Each of the four incidents occurred in June 2011 at the childcare facilities of Lifetime Fitness, where Webster was employed.

Each of the child victims were entrusted to his care. One victim was assaulted twice, according to the indictment.

The Collierville Police Department conducted the criminal investigation and arrested Webster in June 2011.

Aggravated sexual abuse is a class B felony. Upon conviction, each charge carries a sentence of eight to 30 years.
