Atlanta Weather Forecast - Labor Day

ATLANTA, Ga. - SEPTEMBER STARTING OFF STEAMY

Above normal temperatures and above normal humidity will make the beginning of September feel more like the beginning of August.

TEMPERATURES: Temperatures will run well above normal this first week of September with highs in the 90s and lows only down into the mid-70s. The hottest days should be Tuesday and Wednesday when many places will see highs near 95. By the end of the week and into the weekend highs will be closer to 90, but humidity will remain high.

T-SHOWERS: Along with the high heat and humidity, showers and t-showers will develop daily during the afternoon and evening. Look for the most active periods to be between 3pm and 7pm with a few storms possible severe. Main threat will come from lightning, hail and gusty winds.
