Congratulations to our top 20 Glee Casting Call Contestants! You can vote for your favorite between 5:00pm CDT April 8, 2010 and 9:00am CDT April 19, 2010. The top three (3) Finalists will be determined by internet voting in accordance with voting rules listed below the voting area. The contestant with the most votes will be the winner!


The top three Finalists will be announced in the 9:00am hour on April 19, 2010 on FOX13's Good Morning Memphis. These top three will appear on Good Morning Memphis on April 20, 2010 at 9:00am, where the final winner will be announced and asked to perform.


Registration is required to cast your vote. You can vote as many time as you like until the voting period ends.

FOX 13 GLEE CASTING CALL CONTEST RULES


Who Can Enter

 

1. Entrants must be legal Tennessee, Arkansas or Mississippi residents who are between 16 years of age and 26 years of age as of April 19, 2010.

2. Employees of Fox Television Stations, Inc., the Harrell Theatre, and Mednikow Jewelers (collectively, “Sponsor”), their affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members of each are ineligible.

 

How to Enter

 

3. No purchase is necessary to enter. Only one entry per person.

4. To enter, contestant must bring proof of age (i.e. Driver’s License, State Issued ID, Passport), a non-returnable headshot picture of themselves, and a signed Release form provided at www.myfoxmemphis.com to the Harrell Theatre, 440 W. Powell Road., Collierville, TN 38017, on April 3, 2010. Contestants must be in line no earlier than 7:00 a.m. local time, and must be prepared to sing one (1) song of your choice a cappella. Contestants will be asked to sing at least 30 seconds and no more than one minute of their song choices.

5. Contestants will be seen on first come first served basis. Judges will see as many contestants as possible until 6:00 p.m. local time. Sponsor does not guarantee that all individuals who are in line will be able to enter.

6. The Judges will select twenty (20) Finalists based on singing ability, personality, and appearance. The Finalists must come to FOX 13 studios between the hours of 11:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. local time, on Tuesday, April 6, 2010. The Finalists will be taped performing an entire public domain song or an original composition, as well as give a 30-second “Why I should be a cast member on Glee” speech. In the event finalists can not make the April 6th taping, they have the option of videotaping their own entry and have it burned to a CD and given to WHBQ-TV by 4pm on Tuesday, April 6. The Finalists will have their video tapes uploaded onto www.myfoxmemphis.com, which the public will vote between 5:00 p.m. central time April 8, 2010 and 9am (central) April 19, 2010. The top three (3) Finalists will be determined by internet voting in accordance with voting rules announced at the time votes are solicited. The contestant with the most votes will be the winner. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel the contest, or, at its option, to select the winner by alternate means if, in Sponsor’s discretion, the voting becomes technically or otherwise corrupted. The top three (3) Finalists will be announced in the 9:00 a.m. hour on April 19, 2010 on “Good Morning Memphis” program. These top three will be asked to appear on “Good Morning Memphis” on April 20, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. local time, where the final winner will be announced and asked to perform.

 

The Prize(s)

 

7. The winner will receive a guaranteed video audition submission to the casting producer of Glee. The prize has no retail value.

8. All finalists will be notified by phone and e-mail. The winner will be announced on “Good Morning Memphis” on April 20, 2010. The winner must complete, sign and return a Certification of Eligibility and Release, which must be received within three days of notification. If a winner is a minor, then the winner’s parent or guardian must also sign the minor’s Certification of Eligibility and Release before the winner receives his or her prize.

9. If a winner does not respond to notification or does not timely return the Certification of Eligibility and Release, that prize will be awarded to the Finalist who receives the next highest number of votes in the online voting.

10. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash or substituted for any other items by the winner(s). The winner(s) cannot assign or transfer prize.

11. Only one prize will be awarded per household. Individuals are eligible to win only one prize within any 30-day period, regardless of the number of giveaways entered.

 

Odds of Winning; Miscellaneous

 

12. Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received and the individual abilities of each entrant.

13. These rules are available Monday through Friday during normal business hours at WHBQ-TV 13, 485 S. Highland, Memphis, TN 38111, and at www.myfoxmemphis.com, through April 30, 2010.

14. For a list of prize winners, send a separate, self-addressed, stamped envelope to: WHBQ-TV 13, 485 S. Highland, Memphis, TN 38111, after April 20, 2010.

15. By entering, entrants represent that they are eligible and agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges, and to release Sponsor, its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by or arising out of this giveaway or any prize awarded.

16. This contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. Sponsor is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, offering, or administration of the contest, or in the announcement of the prize.
