(New York Post) - Madonna has announced news that may make fans slightly more willing to "work all year, scrape the money together and come to my show," as the superstar has requested.
Fans who purchase tickets to the Material Girl's world tour will receive a free copy of her new album, "MDNA," which is due out March 26.
Madonna has announced that fans can choose whether they would prefer a digital or physical copy of her 12th studio album, listed for $17.99 on Amazon.
She will kick off her trek across the globe -- her longest tour to date -- in Tel Aviv on May 29. She'll entertain fans across the Middle East and Europe with 25 shows, then head to North America in late August for an additional 25 dates in the US and Canada.
The 53-year-old will also visit South America and Australia in 2013.
The deal is limited to fans who purchase their tickets from TicketMaster.
In a Newsweek interview prior to her Super Bowl halftime performance, Madonna was highly dismissive of fan complaints over high ticket prices.
"Start saving your pennies now," said Madonna. "People spend $300 on crazy things all the time, things like handbags. So work all year, scrape the money together and come to my show. I'm worth it."
