Halle Berry's Move Furthers Engagement Rumors

(NewsCore) - Halle Berry's court petition to relocate her toddler daughter to France has furthered rumors she is engaged to French heartthrob Olivier Martinez.

Though tabloids reported in early January that Martinez, 46, had proposed -- neither party confirmed the tale that they were set to wed.

But now that Berry has filed court papers requesting to bring her three-year-old daughter -- whose father is ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry -- to Europe, sources tell TMZ that the Oscar winner is definitely engaged.

Berry and Aubry have had an on-off custody battle for their little girl, Nahla, since they split in 2010 and the Canadian model is said to vehemently oppose Berry's reverie of a life in France.

The twice-divorced actress, 45, began dating Martinez in late 2010.

Martinez, best known for his role as Diane Lane's lover in "Unfaithful," had previously dated Australian pop star Kylie Minogue. He was also linked to English hottie Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, 24, and Oscar winner Mira Sorvino, 44.
