Beyonce and Jay-Z Show Off New Baby

(NewsCore) - The world's best-known, much-hyped one-month-old just had her coming out party.

The first photographs of Blue Ivy Carter being cradled by mom Beyonce and proud pop Jay-Z were posted online Friday, along with a heartfelt note signed "The Carter Family."

"We welcome you to share in our joy," said an introduction to the photo spread on Tumblr. "Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives" -- signed "The Carter Family."

Blue Ivy, who has already had her name trademarked, was pictured sleeping in her blankie and being comforted by her parents.

It's hard to top her publicity buildup: Beyonce announced that she was expecting last August 28 during the MTV Video Music Awards. That triggered 8,868 tweets per second, setting a Twitter record.

Blue Ivy made her debut to the world on Jan. 8 -- although the world didn't get to see what she looked like until Friday.
